Information Technology - IT?

Information Technology (IT) is the use of hardware, software, networking, the internet, processes and people to create, retrieve, process, transmit, manipulate, store, secure and exchange all forms of electronic data, often in the context of a business or other enterprise. IT can offer great benefits such as increased flexibility, greater costs savings, competitive advantage, higher quality and better performance, more freedom, access to specialised skills and much more.
